We came to Moonraker to celebrate our anniversary and had such a memorable experience from start to finish. The hostess greeted us immediately, wished us a happy anniversary, and seated us at a table with a majestic view overlooking Rockaway Beach. Honestly, I could've sat there all day just staring out at the ocean. The restaurant was bustling, but our server Jeff was fantastic ... laid-back, pleasant, and attentive despite the busy evening. Food highlights: * Crab Cakes: Flaky, crunchy, and packed with flavor. Served with a fresh arugula, fennel, and petite frisée salad, plus a fire-roasted romesco sauce that tied it all together beautifully. * Bread & Butter: Warm bread with a perfect crunchy crust and soft inside. The butter? Rich, salty, and seriously delicious. I ordered the Steak Frites; the steak was grilled perfectly, sliced thin, and so tender and juicy. The bordelaise sauce was excellent for dipping. The duck fat fries were flavorful, though I do wish they had come out a little hotter and crispier. My husband went with the Jumbo Coconut Prawns, and they passed our "no sauce needed" test ... crispy, flavorful, and not overcooked. The pineapple guava "applesauce" dipping sauce was a standout. I wish I could've bottled it up and taken it home - it was THAT good. The mashed potatoes on the side were creamy, fluffy, and buttery, a great complement to the dish. As a surprise for our anniversary, they brought us a complimentary molten lava cake rich, warm, and paired with a bright raspberry sauce. So thoughtful, and so delicious! Even though we were full, we had already eyed the dessert menu and knew we had to try more: * Pumpkin Crème Brûlée: Silky smooth with just the right amount of pumpkin--flavorful but not overpowering. * Apple Crumb: My husband loved it. The butter pecan ice cream added a unique and indulgent twist to a classic dessert. Overall, highly recommend! The food, service, and view came together to make this a truly special evening.

My husband and I adventured to Moonraker's on a Wednesday evening with no reservations and were seated promptly. We were lucky enough to snag a window view. I ordered the chicken parmesan with the mocktail version of a paloma - both extremely delicious. The chicken parm plate was a great portion. My husband opted for the surf & turf New York steak w/ the lobster mac and cheese. We also shared the calamari and chocolate cake. Everything was a 10/10. The service was great and we walked around feeling cared about and wanting to bring our parents back when they come to visit us. Highly recommend! If you are visiting on a weekend, I would highly suggest reservations because with the views this restaurant offers, I'm assuming it gets packed really fast.

Best restaurant in Pacifica with an amazing ocean view. If it wasn't cold and windy, I would have definitely preferred sitting outside enjoying the sun and the fresh air but this was an enjoyable experience. I had the seafood tower, the bacon wrapped dates and the beet salad. They didn't not disappoint and made the experience even more enjoyable.

Food, drinks and service amazing every time. We always reserve the oyster booth if available for the view The first time we came here I got the pacific sunset and it's been my go-to drink whenever we visit. I recommend getting the lobster mac and cheese as part of your main. And for dessert, warm apple crumble and a cappuccino on the side!

Moonraker is as good as we remembered when we last visit at least five years ago. Reservation is easy and convenient with Yelp. No crowd for lunch. It's a very relaxing vibe with nice ocean view and live piano music. For a party of 4, we ordered crispy calamari, bowl of chowder, half a dozen oyster, cioppino, Petrale sole, seafood pasta, and molten chocolate cake. We liked everything! My favorite is their cioppino. It happened to be the crab season so we got to try their Dungeness crab cioppino. Oysters are a little small but they are fresh. We'll definitely be back for special occasions!

My family had an absolutely wonderful experience at Moonraker yesterday! We were celebrating my mom's birthday and we got the best table in the restaurant. The views of the ocean were absolutely stunning. From the service to the food to the drinks, I couldn't have asked for anything more. I don't think I've ever seen my mom so happy, so thank you to Moonraker for that!

All night happy hour on Thursdays? Sign me up! A friend and I came here after trying to get into a local wine bar that was closed for a private event. She mentioned the all night happy hour at Moonraker and we decided to check it out. Seating is in bar area only and on a first come, first serve basis. We arrived right before 6 p.m. and the place was packed. Luckily, we were able to grab the last table. Oysters were $1.50 each. House cocktails $8.95 each. Service was prompt and friendly. The atmosphere was lively and there was even a person playing the piano. Knowing about the happy hour deals, I'm definitely adding Moonraker, a local oldie and prior fave, to my rotation list.

Came to Moonraker for a business meal and despite needing to fight through the atmospheric river a bit, it was well worth the experience for the view alone! We started our meal with the oysters and calamari. The oysters were a little small but excellent - fresh, sweet, and delicious! The calamari left a bit to desire in my opinion. I think it was a little under fried and didn't have that satisfying crunch. We then tried the clam chowder and wow, I totally recommend this! It was chock full of clams and potato pieces. It was very hearty and comforting! For my main, I went with the sea scallops which were classic. They were seared nicely and I really enjoyed the butternut squash puree with roasted brussel sprouts, on point for the season! If I wasn't feeling a little under the weather, I would have actually picked the ciopinno though! It looked amazing upon delivery! For dessert, I had a cappuccino and it was made perfectly. The foam was tight and velvety! We also shared the s'mores on the table which was fun because you get to roast your own marshmallow! Moonraker really let us just sit and enjoy our meal over long conversations. I think this is the first time I've been at a restaurant from open to close which felt really weird to me but staff continued to be attentive throughout and that was greatly appreciated.
